This contemporary hotel offers 146 overnight rooms and a large event space that is flexible to have weddings, large social events, corporate meetings, and mitzvahs. The in-house spa is the perfect destination for a relaxing bachelor party, girls get away, or team building activities with the incredible views of our city.

In addition to planning dream weddings, Kim and her team also have other events at the luxury hotel. Some of Kim’s favorite events include working with the Make A Wish Foundation and Dream on Three Foundation as she loves having the opportunity to bring wishes of anyones to life.

The Ritz-Carlton was the first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) built hotel in Charlotte and the first built for the Ritz-Carlton Brand. The Ritz-Carlton in Charlotte earned this certification by multiple characteristics that make this hotel “green” and environmentally friendly. The roof of the Ritz is vegetated with vegetables and herbs, which are used in the craft cocktails of the hotel restaurant and bar. Not only is the Ritz LEED certified, but they also received a Five Diamond award for consistently outstanding customer service.

Kim and the Special Events Managers look for vendors that treat their customers with the same outstanding customer service as they would treat them at their venue. Kim says, “One of my favorite things about working in the hospitality industry is the local vendors because they are a wonderful group of people.” Kim loves making people happy and especially enjoys working with Split Second Sound. “The customer service is always amazing. We know our couples will be taken care of as SSS always listens to what the couple needs,” Kim says.
